The Chinese Juniper 'Itoigawa' (Juniperus chinesis) pictured here is a young bonsai in training since 2006. It was carefully crafted by grafting branches onto a trunk of another species, the Juniperus horizontalis ' Shimpaku Juniper freshly wired out.
